Avengers: Endgame picks up after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw the Avengers divided and defeated. Thanos won the day and used the Infinity Stones to snap away half of all life in the universe. Gave it an extra star because the ending was a fitting finale. If you haven't seen this at a movie theatre, then just wait for it to come to Netflix or whatever streaming service Disney will release. There wasn't a timeline option where iron man went to the 70s and stole the teseract and interacted with his dad so Loki never stole the teseract. And someone else went to steal the power stone so that nebula was not hacked by thanos.
